ARCHITECTURE
Sustainable Vernacular Architecture
The current global crisis of energy resources, climatic deterioration, pollution, non-biodegradable waste and recourses depletion necessitated the demand of sustainable vernacular architecture. Sustainable and indigenous architectural practice is an urgent requirement of the modern world especially in the developing countries. It also includes the methods involving low cost indigenous construction techniques with native knowledge and local workmanship, finally, resulting in optimum utilization of resources.
